Kokoamos Island Bar & Grill in Virginia Beach plans to close, hosting its final Saturday night party Nov. 5. The owners of the marina off North Great Neck Road, where Kokoamos has operated for seven years, have decided to convert the space into a catering room where customers could host their own parties, said Barry Davis, Kokoamos owner. He has no plans to move Kokoamos to another location, he said.
